Hello, I’m Attila, founder of DriveAway Automatic. My independent Portsmouth-based driving school is built around helping learners become safe, confident and independent drivers for life — not just passing the driving test.

I began my career as a professional driving instructor in 2022 with a major UK driving school, gaining experience teaching learners from all backgrounds and confidence levels. In 2026, I created DriveAway Automatic to offer a more modern, supportive and personal learning experience focused on real driving skills, confidence building and road awareness.

I specialise in helping beginner drivers, nervous learners and people returning to driving after long breaks. Every learner is different, which is why lessons are tailored to your individual needs, learning style and pace.

My teaching approach is calm, patient and supportive, helping learners progress without unnecessary pressure or overwhelm. Lessons focus on real-world driving situations, practical road experience and building long-term confidence behind the wheel.

Alongside driving instruction, I also study Data Science at the University of Portsmouth, using analytical thinking and modern learning approaches to better understand driver behaviour, awareness and habit formation.

DriveAway Automatic also shares educational driving content across YouTube, TikTok and Facebook, including learner advice, real driving situations and dashcam videos designed to improve road awareness and confidence.

Above all, I believe learning to drive should be about more than simply passing a test. My focus is on teaching safe driving for life and helping every learner feel comfortable, respected and supported throughout their journey.
